Balisong (Butterfly) Knives at Austin Blade Co.
Benchmade's balisongs and the occasional vintage flipper. Legal in Texas since 2017.
Texas removed butterfly knives from its prohibited list in 2017, and the Benchmade 82 Laro and 99 Necron are the ones people ask for: titanium or G10 handles, MagnaCut or S30V blades, and the smoothest action in production. We keep both in the case when Benchmade lets us.
Questions we get at the counter
- Are butterfly knives legal in Texas?
- Yes, since September 2017. Several other states still ban them, so we ship balisongs only where they are legal.
