The Phaeton is Benchmade's spine-fire OTF, combining speed and clean style in a semi-tactical everyday carry. The actuator sits on the spine, so a quick push of the thumb fires the blade out the front and pulls it back, all in one natural motion. The 3.45" clip-point blade is CPM S30V with a black DLC coating, set in a slim black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handle that keeps the whole knife right around 3 ounces. A deep-carry clip keeps it low in the pocket. Made in Oregon City, USA, and backed by Benchmade's LifeSharp lifetime sharpening and warranty.
