Cattaraugus
Only one in the case
A classic piece of American cutlery from Cattaraugus Cutlery Co. of Little Valley, New York, one of the great old-line U.S. knife makers. The main blade carries the full CATTARAUGUS CUTLERY CO. / LITTLE VALLEY N.Y. tang stamp, with pattern number 22059 on the reverse. This two-blade equal end knife pairs a sheepfoot-style main blade with a pen blade at the opposite end. The brown jigged bone handles have deep, attractive jigging and a long nickel silver bar shield, finished with nickel silver bolsters on both ends. Condition: Honest used vintage condition. The blades show patina, light pitting, and use, and the stamps are clear and readable. The bone handles are solid with great color.
