D/A came out of Microtech's early collaboration with custom maker Greg Lightfoot, blending his clean, ergonomic custom lines with Microtech's precision production in a double-action automatic. This example is date-stamped September 2000, the era collectors seek out, and pairs a titanium front bolster with a deeply textured carbon fiber scale for a grip that's as good-looking as it is functional. The drop point blade is 154-CM stainless with a stonewashed-style finish, fired by Microtech's signature concentric-ring button. Made in the USA. Hard to find, and harder to find in this condition.
