The Ontario XM-1 Extreme Military is a heavy-duty, overbuilt folder made to U.S. military specifications and issued under National Stock Number 1095-01-535-5724. Built in Italy, it pairs a thick, cryo-quenched Böhler N690Co cobalt stainless blade with a machined aircraft aluminum handle that feels more like a tactical fixed blade than a pocket knife. The milled grip grooves give solid control bare-handed or with gloves, and dual titanium liner locks keep the blade locked up tight. The XM-1 has been discontinued, making this a good chance to pick up a genuine military-issue folder. - Brand: Ontario Knife Company - Model: XM-1 Extreme Military - NSN: 1095-01-535-5724 - Blade: 3.375" drop point, Böhler N690Co cobalt stainless, plain edge - Blade thickness: 0.19" - Overall length: 8" - Lock: Dual titanium liner locks - Opening: Blade slot - Handle: Machined aircraft aluminum with milled grip grooves - Features: Pocket clip, lanyard hole - Weight: 6.3 oz - Made in Italy - Condition: Pre-owned, light handling marks on the handle - No box
