The Para-X is Paragon's next-generation take on its well-known ATKO-10. It's a single-action out-the-front automatic, hand-built in Asheville, North Carolina. Press the button and the satin CPM S35VN dagger fires out of the handle and locks up tight. To close it, press the button and draw the blade back with the retracting lever. A sliding safety under the firing button keeps it from firing in your pocket, and the black 6061 aluminum handle gives it a clean, solid feel.
