Pro-Tech / Chaves Scapegoat Compact Auto, RCS1105 Built from a partnership between Pro-Tech and designer Ramon Chavez of Chaves Knives, the Scapegoat Compact Auto takes the aggressive styling of the original Scapegoat and packs it into a tighter, more pocket-friendly frame, without giving up any of its attitude or performance. This is a knife that carries easy and deploys hard. The blade is CPM-MagnaMax, a next-generation stainless steel built to bridge the gap between high-wear tool steels and high-performance stainless. It holds an edge longer, resists corrosion, and is cut from one of the last runs of steel released by Crucible Industries, making this blade steel a bit of a collector's note in itself. Pro-Tech's push-button auto action fires it open with authority and total reliability every time. The handle is carbide-textured black aluminum for a confident grip, finished out with blasted hardware and a deep-carry pocket clip that rides tip-up for a clean, low-profile carry.
