Case XX
Only one in the case
A genuine piece of Case history. This two-blade Stag Canoe, pattern 52131, was made in Bradford, Pennsylvania during the early Case XX era (1940-48), and it carries the rare long pull nail nick that collectors go looking for. The canoe is one of the most graceful slipjoint patterns ever made, with its sweeping, upturned ends and blades opening from opposite ends, and genuine stag gives every one its own character. This knife has been honestly used, carried and sharpened. It wears its years the way a real working pocket knife should, and it's a great find for a Case collector filling in the 52131 line or anyone who wants to carry a knife with eighty years of history behind it.
