Built with the upland hunter in mind, the Remington R1-D Upland Bird Knife is a purpose-driven classic that delivers both versatility and heritage. Made in the USA under the trusted Remington UMC name, this folding knife reflects a time when tools were crafted for real use in the field. Its 3-blade configuration is what sets it apart, featuring a traditional clip point blade for everyday cutting, a bird hook for dressing game, and a specialized choke tube wrench/tool that makes it a practical companion for shotgun hunters. At approximately 3 7/8" closed, it’s compact enough to carry comfortably while still offering the functionality serious outdoorsmen appreciate. Whether you’re a collector of vintage Remington knives or an upland hunter looking for a unique, all-in-one tool, the R1-D stands out as a rare and thoughtful design with true field-ready capability.
