Remington
Only one in the case
A collectible 1992 Remington UMC "Guide" bullet knife, the 1992 release in Remington's limited-edition Bullet Knife series, complete with its box. The R1253 is a reproduction of the original Remington R1253 made in the 1920s and '30s, a big lockback trapper that legend holds was a favorite of Al Capone. It's a substantial knife at 5-3/8" closed, with a long 4-1/8" saber clip blade carrying the Remington etch, the circle Remington UMC U.S.A. tang stamp and a long-pull nail nick. Deeply jigged red-brown Delrin handles are set off by nickel silver bolsters, brass liners and the signature nickel silver bullet shield. Made in the USA, and a key piece for any Remington bullet knife collection. • Model: Remington UMC R1253 "Guide" Bullet Knife, 1992 • Closed length: 5-3/8" • Blade: 4-1/8" saber clip point, stainless steel, Remington etch • Tang stamp: Circle Remington UMC, Made in U.S.A. • Lock: Lockback • Handle: Red-brown jigged Delrin • Bolsters: Nickel silver • Shield: Nickel silver bullet • Liners: Brass • Includes original box • Made in USA
