Spyderco Para 3 Lightweight – Cobalt Blue, CPM SPY27 The Para 3 took everything that made the Paramilitary 2 a modern classic and distilled it into a smaller, faster-carrying package, and this Lightweight version trims it down even further. Swapping G10 for fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) scales cuts a meaningful amount of weight without giving up strength, while bi-directional texturing keeps the grip just as secure in the hand. The blade is cut from CPM SPY27, a proprietary steel Spyderco developed in partnership with Crucible Industries specifically for their own knives. Loaded with vanadium, molybdenum, niobium, and cobalt, it delivers exceptional edge retention and corrosion resistance in a package that's still easy to maintain. The full-flat-ground, satin-finished clip point blade opens smoothly through Spyderco's iconic Round Hole for fast, ambidextrous one-hand deployment.
