The 3.47" full-flat-ground blade is crafted from CPM Cru-Wear, an air-hardening tool steel engineered as an upgrade to D2. Its higher vanadium and tungsten content promotes the formation of more wear-resistant carbides, giving the blade an exceptional edge that holds up to hard use while staying tough and easy to sharpen. The handle is where this knife really stands apart: precision-machined brown canvas Micarta scales reveal a handsome layered construction that only gets better with age and use. Full skeletonized stainless steel liners back the scales and form the foundation of Spyderco's Compression Lock, delivering the same rock-solid lockup and safe, easy one-handed closing the Para Military 2 is known for.
