Spyderco SpyOpera Lockback, Brown Canvas Micarta (SC255CMP) A collaboration between Spyderco and legendary Italian maker LionSteel, the SpyOpera takes a design born from custom knifemaker "Max" and elevates it with Spyderco's signature Round Hole opener and a deep-carry wire clip. This is old-world Italian craftsmanship, hand-fit, hand-finished, built into a compact EDC that punches well above its size. The full-flat-ground blade is Böhler-Uddeholm M390, a premium particle-metallurgy stainless steel prized for its edge retention, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance while still being easy to sharpen and maintain. The handle pairs skeletonized full titanium liners with contoured brown canvas Micarta scales. Every spine, from the blade to the lock bar to the backspacer, is meticulously crowned for a refined, comfortable feel in hand. A robust lockback keeps the blade locked up solid, and at under 3" of blade length with a lockback mechanism, it stays clear of gravity-knife classifications in most jurisdictions.
