Case XX
Only one in the case
An early piece of American cutlery history from the Bradford, Pennsylvania days of W.R. Case & Sons. The "W.R. Case & Sons" tang stamp dates this two-blade jack to the early 1900s, from the company's first decades, before the famous Case Tested XX mark. The spear master and pen blade open from opposite ends, and both carry an even gray patina earned over more than a century. Honey-toned jigged bone scales with deep, well-defined jigging are set off by nickel-silver bolsters on both ends, a nickel-silver shield, and brass pins. Early W.R. Case & Sons knives are getting harder to find, and this one is a great addition to any Case collection. • Brand: W.R. Case & Sons • Origin: Bradford, Pennsylvania, USA • Era: Early 1900s (W.R.
