Remington
Only one in the case
Early Remington cutlery at its best. This R113 two-blade jack carries the Remington UMC circle stamp, the mark used in the company's early pocket knife years, when Remington turned its WWI bayonet works in Bridgeport, Connecticut into one of the biggest knife makers in America. The handles are the star here: rich orange-brown jigged bone with deep, even jigging and real character. A long nickel silver shield, single bolster and lanyard hole give it that classic working-jack look. The clip master blade still shows its etch, and the spear secondary blade rounds out a pattern that's just as useful today as it was a century ago. Remington UMC knives are some of the most collected American pocket knives, prized for their quality and short production window, and the Remington name draws gun collectors as well as knife folks. A great addition to any vintage collection.
