An early piece of Case history. This two-blade jack knife carries the Case & Sons Bradford, PA tang stamp, used after W.R. Case & Sons moved its factory from Little Valley, New York to Bradford, Pennsylvania in 1905. Collectors place this stamp in roughly the 1905 to 1920 era, before the famous "Case Tested XX" and "CASE XX" stamps, making it one of the earliest Case marks you can add to a collection. It's a classic single-bolster jack, pairing a clip point main blade with a pen blade. The handles are warm brown bone with deep, rich color and years of honest character, finished with a single nickel silver bolster. The blades show the age and patina you'd expect from a knife that's roughly a century old. Early Bradford-stamped Case knives are highly sought after by Case collectors, and this one would make a standout addition to any serious collection. - Maker: W.R.
