Boker
Only one in the case
The Barlow is one of the oldest and most loved pocketknife patterns in America. It's a no-nonsense working knife, instantly recognizable by its long front bolster. Böker's Tree Brand version adds its own flair: the bolster is stamped with the famous Tree logo and "BOKER TREE BRAND." Mark Twain wrote the Barlow into Tom Sawyer, and generations of farm boys and working men carried one in their pockets. This 493 wears handsome reddish-brown sawcut handles with brass pins and liners. It has two blades: a clip-point main blade with a long pull for everyday cutting, and a pen blade for fine work, on a snappy slip-joint action. The blades show an honest vintage patina. At about 3 3/8" closed, it's a handy, time-tested carry. Pre-owned, no box.
