The Trapper is one of the most beloved patterns Case has ever made, and this one is special. The clip blade carries a "First Production Run – One of 100" etch, and the bolster is stamped with serial number 009. Only 100 were made in this first run of orange jigged bone, and this is one of the lowest numbers you'll find. A numbered, low-serial first-run Case is exactly what collectors hunt for. The bright orange jigged bone gives it a bold, warm look and a sure grip, set off by nickel silver bolsters and the CASE XX shield. Two full-length blades, a slender clip for everyday cutting and a long spey for skinning, made the Trapper a must-have on the trapline. The blades are Tru-Sharp™ surgical stainless that hold an edge and resist rust, on a crisp slip-joint action. 4 1/8" closed. Made in Bradford, Pennsylvania, USA. Pre-owned in good condition, with its original W.R. Case & Sons box.
