One of the most distinctive shapes Case ever made. The 6250 Elephant Toenail, also known as the Sunfish, is a big, wide-bodied two-blade jack that sits in the hand like nothing else. This one wears rich, dark brown jigged bone handles with stainless blades and the prized elephant etch on the master blade. The 5-dot tang stamp dates it to 1975. The Elephant Toenail earned its name from its broad, rounded profile, and it earned its reputation as a serious working knife with a stout master blade backed up by a pen blade for finer work. The elephant etch is one of the most beloved blade etches among Case collectors, and dot-era examples are a highlight in any traditional knife collection.
