The blade steel here is a genuine upgrade. CPM S30V, Crucible's landmark powder metallurgy stainless that set the benchmark for production PM steels and remains one of the most proven, widely respected options in the industry. It's full-flat ground with a TiCN black coating for a striking two-tone look against the pink handle, and it holds an edge well beyond what most EDC users will ask of it. Slip-resistant jimping runs along the spine for secure thumb placement during detail work. The handle is bright pink FRN (fiberglass-reinforced nylon). Lightweight, chemically inert, and finished with Spyderco's Bi-Directional Texture pattern for a non-slip grip in any condition.
