Spyderco Roadie – Blue FRN, N690Co Slipjoint The Roadie brings a fresh take on the classic penknife, and this blue FRN version gives it an eye-catching, modern edge while keeping all the practical, travel-friendly design the model is known for. It's a non-locking slipjoint built for socially-friendly everyday carry, small, unassuming, and easy to pocket anywhere. The wide sheepfoot blade is full-flat ground from Böhler-Uddeholm N690Co stainless steel, delivering a scalpel-sharp edge with excellent cutting geometry. Instead of a traditional nail nick, the signature Double Dent feature lets you open the blade with an easy pinch-grip motion, no fingernail required, and no dirt-collecting nick to worry about. A forefinger choil doubles as a control point and a natural stop against accidental closure, while an improved notched-joint mechanism (backed by the full-length spring backstrap) holds the blade securely open. The contoured blue FRN scales keep weight down to about an ounce, finished with the recessed Spyderco bug logo on both sides.
