A charming and hard-to-find vintage three-blade pocket knife with the tang stamped "AXEL NILSSON / SWEDISH STEEL." Knives with this marking turn up only rarely, which makes this one a fun piece for collectors of Scandinavian-steel and early pocket cutlery. It wears beautiful golden-yellow pearlized swirl celluloid handles with a nickel silver shield and nickel silver bolsters at both ends. The master blade has a long pull, with a pen blade at the same end and a punch opening from the opposite end. The blades show honest age with light scratching and patina, and the handles remain colorful and attractive.
