A beautiful Case XX 5333 SSP small stockman in genuine stag. The "5" in the pattern number denotes genuine stag handles, "3" the three blades, and "33" Case's small stockman pattern, while the "SSP" suffix marks stainless steel polished blades, a feature collectors associate with Case's 1970s stag knives. The master blade wears a striking decorative scroll etch, and the tang is stamped "CASE XX STAINLESS USA." The stag scales show rich honey and amber tones with deep dark bark, finished with Case's oval shield and nickel silver bolsters at both ends. The polished stainless blades are bright and clean. A great compact stag knife for a Case collector or a classy everyday carry.
